Our Journey: Empowering Through Creativity
JAMACE AFRICA was founded in 2016 by Chukwuemeka ‘RUCCI’ Immanuel, driven by a passion for inclusivity and a belief that every individual, regardless of their abilities, has something unique to offer. Initially a small initiative aimed at providing creative outlets for people with disabilities, JAMACE AFRICA spent several years developing expertise in the fields of Music and Theatre Arts. In 2024, the foundation officially launched its operations, embarking on a new chapter dedicated to fostering personal development and promoting inclusivity for individuals with special needs across Africa.
Today, we are evolving into a thriving community where creativity is not only celebrated but also nurtured. Our programs are designed to empower individuals to discover their potential, express their emotions, and engage with the world in ways they never imagined. From art exhibitions showcasing the talents of individuals with disabilities to music productions amplifying voices that are often unheard, JAMACE AFRICA stands as a beacon of hope, creativity, and opportunity for many.

Our Impact: Building a Brighter Future, One Step at a Time
At JAMACE AFRICA,we are filled with hope and excitement for the impact we are set to make through our innovative programs. While our journey has just begun, our vision is clear: to empower individuals with disabilities by unlocking their creative potential through our focus on Creative Arts, Music, and Sports.
Though we are yet to serve our first participant, we are laying the foundation for a powerful and lasting impact. Our flagship initiative,Creative Ability Project – 100 (CAP-100), is designed to engage and support 100 individuals with special needs, guiding them on a journey of self-discovery, creative expression, and personal growth.
What We Strive to Achieve:
- Creative Arts: Our goal is to inspire participants to express their unique perspectives through painting, sculpture, and other artistic mediums. We aim to organize public exhibitions where their works can be showcased, breaking down barriers and changing perceptions about disabilities.
- Music Empowerment: We are dedicated to helping individuals find their voice through music. Whether by learning instruments, composing original pieces, or engaging in music therapy, our participants will have the tools to tell their stories through melody and rhythm.
- Adaptive Sports: Physical fitness is essential for building self-confidence and fostering inclusion. Our adaptive sports program will provide individuals with special needs the opportunity to participate in team-based activities that promote both physical health and emotional well-being.
- Our Success Story
Meet Abednego Noris – Africa’s Foremost Blind Rapper and On-Air Personality
Abednego Noris, a determined young man diagnosed with visual impairment, always had a dream. From an early age, he was fascinated by the world of broadcasting and music, imagining himself as an on-air personality and a rapper. However, like many individuals with special needs, Abednego faced barriers to his ambitions.
His life took a significant turn when he met Chukwuemeka ‘RUCCI’ Immanuel, the founder of JAMACE AFRICA, who was his tutor at the Pacelli School for the Blind and Partially Sighted Children. Under RUCCI’s mentorship and through JAMACE AFRICA’s supportive programs, Abednego began to nurture his talents and develop his skills. With encouragement, training, and consistent guidance, he refined his voice, perfected his presentation style, and honed his rap skills.
Today, Abednego Noris has become a trailblazer in the creative space. He has graced several radio shows as an On-Air Personality, presenter, and voice-over actor, demonstrating that disabilities are no barrier to achieving greatness. He has not only found his voice behind the microphone but also as a powerful rapper, making him Africa’s foremost blind rapper. Through his music, Abednego tells stories, challenges stereotypes, and inspires others with his authenticity and passion.
Abednego’s success is a testament to the power of mentorship, creativity, and resilience. His journey embodies the very essence of JAMACE AFRICA’s mission: to empower individuals with special needs through creative expression, helping them unlock their full potential and achieve their dreams.
